Order this productRolled sheet vinyl flooring is produced as continuous sheets that are later cut to length for installation. The manufacturing process involves calendaring PVC resin with plasticizers, stabilizers, and reinforcing layers to achieve uniform thickness and consistent performance across the roll.
Key parameters that define the product include overall thickness, wear layer thickness, roll width, roll length, and weight per square meter. These values are adjusted according to project requirements and are verified during in‑process testing.
| Parameter | Typical Range | Customization Note |
|---|---|---|
| Overall Thickness | 2.0 mm – 5.0 mm | Selected based on traffic load |
| Wear Layer Thickness | 0.3 mm – 0.7 mm | Determines abrasion resistance |
| Roll Width | 1.5 m – 2.0 m | Adjusted to minimize seams |
| Roll Length | 15 m – 30 m | Custom lengths available |
| Weight per m² | 2.5 kg – 4.5 kg | Influences handling and shipping |

The core consists of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) blended with phthalate‑free plasticizers for flexibility. Calcium‑zinc stabilizers provide heat and UV resistance. A glass‑fiber or polyester reinforcement layer is embedded to improve dimensional stability and tear strength. The surface wear layer is a clear PVC coating that can be embossed for slip resistance.
In industrial facilities, the flooring resists oils, solvents, and mild chemicals, reducing maintenance downtime. The wear layer thickness directly correlates with abrasion resistance, allowing selection based on foot traffic or equipment loads. Embossed surfaces provide a coefficient of friction above 0.6, meeting slip‑resistance standards for wet areas.
Because the product is supplied in rolls, installation requires fewer seams than tile systems, which lowers the risk of moisture ingress and improves hygienic performance in healthcare or food‑processing environments. The material’s dimensional stability (typically <0.1 % change after 24 h immersion) ensures flat laying over large areas.
Each production lot undergoes inline thickness gauging and wear layer measurement. Finished rolls are sampled for Taber abrasion resistance (target <150 mg loss after 1000 cycles), chemical resistance (ISO 26987), and dimensional stability. Results are recorded and available upon request.
Rolls are wrapped in polyethylene shrink film to protect against moisture and placed on pallets with corner protectors. Each pallet is secured with straps and labeled with product code, dimensions, and batch number. For sea freight, containers are loaded with desiccant packs and ventilation to maintain product integrity during transit.
